Muaythai mourns tragic loss

Proud gold medallist

The Muaythai world mourns the tragic loss of Sornsiri Radsarong, also known by his fight name “Bin Lah Meenayothin”. He had just come back victorious from the Muaythai World Championships in Russia, defending his amateur World Title and bringing home gold.

A tragic car accident took his young life. He was the team captain for the national Thai team for two years, and he was known for his outstanding sportsmanship both in and outside of the ring. He is remembered as a kind individual and he will be deeply missed.

IFMA sends its deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand (AMTAT) under royal patronage. Athletes from around the world are in shock at this devastating loss.
