Malaysia Muaythai gets major boost

Muaythai Malaysia is continuing to grow after a successful Challenger Muaythai, the Emmy nominated muaythai reality show. After the IFMA world Championship 2014, Malaysia is again in the limelight, starting a 13 episode TV series – Rise of Heroes. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zahid Hamidi visited the Kuda Merah International Muaythai Challenge 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, where 12 amateur fighters from around the world fought for various championship titles with the top prize being the “Deputy Prime Minister’s belt” The Deputy Minister was so thoroughly impressed that he made a donation of $150,000 towards the development of muaythai in Malaysia.
