Macau Venues Get Green Lights for the Asian Championships

The Asian Championships 2018 is just around the corner. Sport Director of the Federation of Asian Muaythai Amateur Ms. Azadeh Kamyabi is in Macau meeting the local organising committee, she has also confirmed the venue for the Asian Muaythai Forum.
The event takes place at one of the largest indoor venues in Macau – the Macau Forum with 4000 seats for spectators to support the athletes. The Macau Forum was one of the venues for the annual FIVB Volleyball Grand Prix and many more sporting events.


One of the highlights of the Asian Championships will be a charity event “Walk for a Million” organized annually by the Readers of Macao Daily News Charity Fund. Muaythai athletes will take part to contribute to the amazing cause of supporting the community.

The teams with full schedule will soon to be published on the IFMA scoring platform IFMA Live. Full results will be available daily on this platform. National federations already registered in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Philippines as well naturally as host nation Macau.

The opening ceremony will mark a great event. The Asian Championships is the last event in the IFMA calendar in 2018 and concludes a year full of events in sport.
