Teams register for the Arafura Games 2019

Arafura Games is just around the corner with the city of Darwin anticipating teams from all over the world. Preparation has been underway for the last year and so many arrangements have been done already to give international delegations the best experience of Australia.


The Opening ceremony will welcome the local crowds, participants and guests of the city on the 26 April at the Darwin Waterfront showcasing the diversity of the participating countries at the flag parade. The opening and close ceremonies will be open for all to attend and be free of charge which promises to have the highest attendance.

 
The Muaythai competition will see countries from different parts of the world making their way as far as from Europe, Africa, Asia and America to take their chance to qualify for the World Games 2021 in Birmingham.

 

Scheduled from 28 April to 2 May Australian muaythai followers will see elite muaythai performed by the IFMA champions. Muaythai is one of the only two non-Olympic sports in the games which shows the popularity of muaythai in Australia and around the world.
Vietnam, Ukraine, Nigeria, Nepal, Austria, Israel, UAE and many more will arrive at Darwin on 26 April to shine at the Arafura Games 2019.
