Anticipating the First Competition Day of the SEA Games

Tomorrow 5th December Muaythai competition of the South East Asian Games 2019 will be opened by IFMA with representatives of Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and of course the hosts Philippines making their appearance in front of the local crowd.

Young Alexis Mayag As (PHI) will debut in the IFMA events against the Indonesian Sulaeman. This will be a bout to follow and the Muaythai event will be heard as the crowd will definitely give a strong support to their countryman.

Next up will be the bout of the highest level as the current Asian Champion Norapat Khundam (THA) will take exam from Truong Cao Minh Phat (VIE). Norapat showed amazing skills last year in Macau and his skills allowed him to steam victory from Yevgeniy Zaitsev (KAZ) in an a very close fight. Tomorrow spectators will see the Muaythai in its best performed by the Thai.

Another outstanding bout is expected in the women’s division as the IFMA World Champion Bui Yen Ly (VIE) will be testing skills of Tharoth Oum from Cambodia. Bui has a great chance to be an IFMA three times champion adding the gold of Philippines and Emirates to her record.

The entire Philippines martial arts community is looking forward to the opening of the competition and watching the world finest athletes perform at the SEA Games.
