English Qualifiers for the Upcoming IFMA World Championships

Over 60 countries have already started the qualification rounds for the upcoming IFMA World Championships, held in honour of His Majesty the King of Thailand’s 80th Birthday, at which 100 countries are expected to participate.

IFMA, a member of GAISF, follow strict qualification criteria, especially for this years event for which over 2,000 people are expected to travel to Thailand to participate in the Muaythai event of all events.

Famous Muaythai instructor and member of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA) and the World Muaythai Council (WMC), Master Sken has taken up the task of staging the first round of the English Qualifications and what a day it was! Four boxing rings and eight hours of solid fighting under the solid cooperation of all leading English clubs working together under one umbrella. This was certainly a fantastic first round and the world is looking forward to seeing a strong English team at the World Championships, held from 27th November to 5th December 2007.

With England going from strength to strength, congratulations must go to Master Sken and his team as well as the referees and judges from the UKMF.
