24th SEA Games – 6th to 15th December Muaythai a Full Medal Sport and Female Muaythai Included

Fantastic news from the 24th SEA Games Organising Committee – female Muaythai has been fully included for the first time, which is great news for our Asian friends. IFMA will be the International Federation (IF) for the Games, and its continental arm, the legal FAMA, under the Presidency of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr Karim Massimov, will be the continental IF.

Muaythai has been included into the General Association of International Sports Federations under IFMA, which is great news for the sport. The direction of Muaythai is clear, and the next step will be towards IOC recognition.
