England vs Europe
England’s K2 Leisure Centre Crawley was filled to bursting point for the biggest show Crawley has ever has seen. The event, sponsored by Singha, was amazing, with 18 professional Muaythai bouts, sanctioned by the UKMF, WMC and IFMA, and an atmosphere which can only be described as electric with pumping non-stop entertainment, while fighters from England, Scotland and France battled it out.
The undercard had some fantastic fights which shows the ever growing talent in England.
Dave Fenson from Woking took on the more experienced Martin Smith from Cobra gym, London for another English UKMF Title. Fensom fought the fight of his life, boxing very cleverly and picking his shots well to become UKMF English Champion on points.
The main fight of the evening allowed the audience to witness English Champion Da Silva taking on the very tough French Champ Sebastien Ocana. This was a good fight for 3 rounds with both boxers showing why they are the best in their countries. Da Silva didn’t look his usual self in the 4th and The event will be televised on the WMC World network and congratulations must go to John Jarvis, the promoter, and the UKMF for yet another world class English event.
