IFMA European Cup

The beautiful German town of Singen is set to host the European Muaythai Against Drugs Cup from the 23rd to 25th March. The event is organized by the German Muaythai Federation under the banner of IFMA. 30 Countries will participate in the 2007 event, which is more than double the participants at the 2006 Muaythai Against Drugs Cup, at which 14 countries participated.

Muaythai Against Drugs has become a strong international campaign, and has H.E. General Pichitr, the Privy Councilor of His Majesty the King, as chairperson.

This event is one of many preparatory tournaments for the upcoming IFMA World Championships, which will be held in Thailand at the end of the year, and at which 100 countries are expected to participate in honor of His Majesty the King of Thailand’s 80th Birthday.

Another big event will be held on 22nd March in the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the Kazakhstan Muaythai Federation and IFMA. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan is also the Vice President of IFMA and the President of the Kazakhstan Muaythai Federation. 12 Countries will be participating in this exciting event.
