Introduction to our Executive Board

Mr. Trukhanov is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, the Deputy of Odessa City, who has devoted his life to his country and sport.  Truly, he is a firm believer that sport can make a difference.  He has established a special kids program for street children and orphans, with over 6,000 kids participating all over Ukraine. This program is free of charge and sponsored by the government and the Ukrainian MUAYTHAI Federation.  Mr. Trukhanov has been awarded the IFMA Humanitarian Award for his support in the Muaythai Against Drugs Campaign and also for his work in helping street children in the Ukraine. 

He is also a dedicated Muaythai enthusiast and his dedication in the sport and development of the National Federation undoubtedly has shown proof when Ukraine became the team World Champion in 2004.  Ukraine is one of the power houses in world Muaythai and has been the host of the 2002 European Championships and many international events.
