2nd Coordination Meeting, Beijing
SportAccord concluded 2009 with the 2nd Coordination meeting in Beijing. The Beijing Organising Committee presented a progress report, and together with the Combat Games Committee worked on the technical file review and on the 2010 event preparation planning. Work is in progress and on schedule for ceremonies, publications, TV packages, transport, accreditation and other event services.

WADA Code Signatory
SportAccord became WADA code-signatory as event organisers.
SportAccord and the Beijing Organising Committee will work together during the event to carry out anti-doping controls according to the World Anti-doping code and standards. The preliminary anti-doping test distribution plan was completed and will be further defined in collaboration with each IF within the next couple of months.
Event Website
The event’s website, unveiled by Beijing in November, is now available in its English version on. While the SportAccord combat games section on SportAccord.com will focus on general information and features on the Combat Games, the Beijing2010.org will provide more practical and detailed information on the 2010 event in Beijing.
