In IFMA family tradition, a farewell party was organised for all the athletes, the officials and the coaches to say thank you to each other for upholding the spirit of fairplay and friendship. Since it was the beach games, a private boat has been chartered where over 250 people gathered together for a wonderful evening the Han River, enjoying the beautiful sights of Da Nang.

The last day of the Asian Beach Games Final was more than a success for the organisers of the ABG and the sport of Muaythai, as the stadium was packed to capacity to the point where a second VIP section had to be built to accommodate the many presidents of the NOCs, government representatives and so many sporting personalities. History is made again for the sport of Muaythai with its inclusion as an official Beach Games sport for the 2016 Beach Games in Vietnam, this following its very successful participation in the 2014 Beach Games in Phuket.
