This weekend the Danish Muaythai Championship took place in Copenhagen’s beautiful and most historic sports venue in Copenhagen. The venue is built so that the audience sits high up, looking down into the ring in true gladiator style, which gave the competition a great atmosphere.
The Championship was organized to a high standard, with doping controls performed by the relevant authorities. Uniforms were made for the fighters to wear over the 2 day tournament period, mirroring an international event.
The Danish Championship will once again take place in Copenhagen, but this time in a bigger venue than before! In recent years the numbers of fights has increased dramatically, and spectators can expect a great show with high quality fights.
The event will take place over two days, so it’s a great way to spend a Friday and Saturday evening, for a true weekend of Muaythai! The preliminary fights will be on Friday the 1st of March and the Finals will take place on Saturday the 2nd of March.
