Fitness First Philippines gets a taste of MUAYTHAI!

The Phiippines Fitness First in conjunction with the Muaythai Association of the Philippines and the World Muaythai Council organised a seminar for the personal trainers as part of the Fitness First muaythai for fitness campaign.

The seminar was conducted by WMC Vice President and mentor of The Contender Asia and Challenger Muaythai Stephan Fox assisted by Contender Asia and Challenger Muaythai trainer Hanarong and the Challenger Muaythai semi-finalist from Iran Mostafa Abdollahi.

The Philippine association national coaches Billy Alumno and Brent Velasco assisted by the female silver medallist of the 2010 IFMA World Championships Precious were also in assistance.

The seminar was a smashing success and the President of the national association General Lucas Managuelod along with General Secretary Luis Rivera were on hand to give out the certificates to the personal trainers upon completion of the 3-day seminar.

Over 100 PTs participated in the course, the now Fitness First Philippines, the leading fitness chain in the world can now incorporate muaythai in to their clients’ training regimens.

The workshop incorporates important aspects of muaythai fitness, proper stances, techniques, warm ups, proper use of pads, focus mitts, kick pads and so on.

It ensures that all personal trainers of FITNESS FIRST can give FITNESS FIRST clients the best muaythai workout and get them addicted to muaythai.

One of the most renowned muaythai personalities in the world, the host of Contender Asia and Challenger Muaythai Mr. Stephan Fox, the star trainer of Contender Asia and Challenger Muaythai Hanarong, Malaysian superstar Faisal and the Malaysian Tigers under the umbrella of the Malaysian Muaythai Association; conducted this amazing workshop.

65 representatives of the press had the chance to experience muaythai first hand and the work shop was a huge success.
