WMC Nordic 4-Man Tournament Slated for November 10th, 2012

On the 10th of November, the capital city of Denmark, Copenhagen will stage the Annual Nordic Championship 4-man event.  This time it will be a pre-qualifier for the SportAccord Combat Games 2013.  The concept is that every Noridic country will send one champion and the winner will be crowned the WMC Nordic Champion.

Brazil prepares for the 2012 World Championships

Last weekend, from July 21st – 22nd, the Brazilian Muaythai Championship was held in Curitiba, Paraná, a wonderful city in southern Brazil. Many prominent personalities took part in the Championship opening ceremony, including the Curitiba Municipal Secretary of Sports, Recreation and Youth, Mr. Marcelo Richa and the Paraná State Secretary of Sports, Mr. Rudimar Fedrigo, as well as the alderman of the City of Curitiba, Mr. Tico Kuzma.

IFMA World Championships 2012: Meet the Turkish Muaythai Federation

Muaythai in Turkey began its legalization process in 1999. Beginning Muaythai activities in 2002 in an umbrella organization, in 2009, with the decision of the Turkish Muaythai Federation (TMF), the Ministry of Sports, the General Directorate of Sports and with the approval of the Turkish Prime Minister, an autonomous national Muaythai federation was established. Halil Durna was elected as the president and Hasan Yıldız as the deputy chairman.
