The MUAYTHAI Liga 2013 is an amateur tournament, featuring twelve galas, one per month, to develop female and male, Junior and Senior, Muaythai.
Way to the World Championships – Spanish match results
This past weekend in Spain, at the “Way to the World Championships”event, Sarai Medina proved her superb fighting prowess, winning in a unanimous decision against Barbara Bontempi, who put up a hard fight, never losing her head or letting up for a minute. It was total combat between Juan Luis Oller and Eric Ruiz and a bruising battle between Sergi Pidelaserra and Axel Gallarte, as well as Victor Garcia and Ivan Cruz, who is showing skilful consistency in the ring. The future looks bright for Catalan Muaythai!
Way to the World Championships – Spanish Showdown
There’s a great new event on the cards! The spanish champion Sarai “Iron Lady” Medina will face fantastic Barbara Bontempi – this preparatory clash is a prelude to the most important challenge this year, the IFMA WORLD MUAYTHAI CHAMPIONSHIPS, to be held in Saint Petersburg (Russia). These two female stars will fight 4 rounds, each 2 minutes long, under IFMA rules.
Muaythai Qualification Gala in Andalucia
June 29th will see a regional muaythai gala organised by the FEMT (IFMA member national federation for Spain) in the town of Espartinas in Seville. The event will also feature a national FEMT title fight in the 75 KG division in the category of 75 kg.
This event will also be an official qualifier to select athletes to make up the Spanish National Team for the upcoming IFMA World Championships in St.Petersburg.
Interclub Open Tournament in Spain
March 3rd will see Spain’s Interclub Open Tournament in Tarragona, organised under the sanctioning of IFMA Member federation Federacion Española Muaythai Krabi Krabong. The event will serve as the selection of athletes to represent Spain at the upcoming IFMA World Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia from 3-13 September 2012.
Muaythai Fight Explosion in Spain
The city of Baena will host the 1st edition of the Muaythai Fight Explosion event organized by Club Hanuman and with the collaboration of the local sports administration. The Royal Sport Center Juan Carlos will come alive on the 22nd of October!!

IV Spanish National Championship
The Federacion Española Muay Thai – FEMT, assisted by the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur – IFMA and the European Muaythai Federation – EMF, is proud to present to you the 4th official qualifying event. This event will allow the best Spanish fighters to participate at the prestigious World Muaythai Championships taking place in Uzbekistan in September 2011.
The event will take place from the 24th till the 26th of June, 2011 in the beautiful city of Denia Alicante, in the province of Valencia.
Surely the best of the best will be facing each other with great enthusiasm to reach their dream of representing their National Federation at the World Championships.
Saturday 25th – 1st round & semi-finals – 11:00 to 22:00
Sunday 26th – finals (all weight divisions) – 11:00 to 14:00
