Muaythai Championships in Oslo

February 15th will be “the day” for the Norwegian muaythai athletes. The championships is organised by the Norwegian Muaythai Association in the beautiful city of Oslo. Female and male athletes will compete for the right to walk proudly behind the Norwegian flag in Langkawi, Malaysia.

Brazilian Muaythai Championships

The next Brazilian Muaythai Championships will be held in Porto Alegre City,and will see the participation of athletes from the 24 Brazilian States. The event is the official qualifier to select the team to represent Brazil at the upcoming 2014 IFMA World Championships in Langkawi, Malaysia. Read More

Nigeria’s National Amateur Muaythai Championships & Muaythai Championships/Officiating Course

The Muaythai Federation of Nigeria, a member of IFMA have successfully completed their National Championships. The event was held at the National Stadium Complex in Lagos from November 16th-20th.

The event saw the participation of some 70 fighter and 23 officials coming from some eighteen states, the Nigerian police force and navy.


After the final bouts of the competition, awards and certificates of participation were presented to all athletes, officials and states.

Innocent Amalikwu emerged as the Best Male and Princess Danjuma claimed the award fo Best Female. Each were given a part of muaythai shorts and body guard, while a certificate of merit was presented to Delta state for best performance.
